- let somebody save your life - the mission was clearer than ever before... be honest. it was with this sentiment that 'let somebody save your life' came to fruition. no more pouring over details of production and studio wizardry to get the point across, if there was a point it would show itself. a belief that if one has something meaningful, heartfelt, and above all honest to say it would find it's way into the listeners thoughts and dare i say, hearts. this is definitely a 'warts & all' record, performed and recorded in my living room on shoddy guitars, slightly out of tune pianos and horrendously outdated recording software. primarily acoustically based numbers that are peppered with the outer space atmospherics of fans run through guitar pedals, furnaces beat on for low rumble, and microphones placed on fire escapes in the rain. bumping into microphones, tripping over tambourines and singing until the throat is raw... it's all there and it's all honest. i hope you enjoy this collection of songs, it's definitely the 'winter' record of the set with aprils 'in the meantime...' being the springtime companion.. but that's all to come, for now...
